This is the first black and white frame I have looked at of night time photography. The composition on the buildings caught my eye more than anything else, how the photographer has taken the moment to look up. It creates a real sense of being in the city, being consumed by the tall buildings and artificial light. The light sits in the landscape, not distracting the attention from the massive buildings surrounding it. Although I feel this frame works really well in black and white to enhance the lines, I think on the whole I prefer colour as the desaturated colours of the night create a moody atmosphere, especially with the yellow tones in the lights and windows.
