Facing the river towards the west, you can usually see a caravan park built in to the landscape. On a bright day, the sun was on the west in the afternoon, creating an overpowering affect on to the river. It created a dusty landscape.Facing north, the sun hit the motorway, creating strong lines separating the fields from the roads.
Being close to Cheltenham, I intend to revisit this location in the morning, on a sunny day to capture the shadows and highlights presented by the sun.
I am pleased with this frame as I feel it really presents a relationship between the landscape and the motorway that has been built in to it. The palette is simple yet eye-catching, with two bold leading lines.
