Comment: Good Afternoon, I am a Photojournalism and Documentary Photography student at the University of Gloucestershire. I am interested in documenting all aspects of the work that The Mark Townsend Charity does, because I am passionate about the aims of your charity, and I strive to raise awareness for good causes in my work. I learnt about your charity from your publication on the Gloucestershire Live website, and immediately wanted to learn more about your charity and help those involved. I would be looking to create a Photostory, which would later be turned into a book. All work taken/published would be on your terms. If this is something you would be interested in, or would like any more information, please do not hesitate to email me. You can view my portfolio at, http://chloelomax.zenfolio.com/
Many Thanks, Chloe Lomax
Wow! Thank you so much! We would absolutely love this. Can we have a little bit more information on what you’re aiming to create, what that would entail and what you would need from us?
Thank you so much! We really appreciate it

Thanks for the response. I’m glad that you are interested in the project. It is for a University project called ‘Documentary Perspectives’, which will be submitted as a photobook with text. The book would highlight the work you do at The Mark Townsend Trust, how it works and who it has helped, to bring awareness to the charity. You are welcome to have the final product for your own usage.
Depending on the work flow of the charity, I would like to spend a few days watching what you do, documenting the normal day-to-day goings of the Charity, getting to know about you all personally and why you set up the charity, what it means to you and how far it has come, which will be presented through photographs.
Also, the people you have helped or are currently helping, if there is anyone you could put me in contact with that has had experiences with you, that would be great. Or people you are currently working with that would be happy to be documented through images, and talk to me about the experience.
Finally, if you put on any events or ways of fundraising for the charity, these would also be great to document.
Let me know if you have any preferences on what you would like (or not like) documented.
I look forward to hearing from you,

There’s also talk of a video, including information about depression/suicide etc whilst remaining positive and uplifting 🙂

Not a lot happens day to day, we have a few fundraising things in the works, christmas bingo was requested so we’re doing that, a tandem bike ride and a calendar.
We have meetings once a month, the actual place isn’t that cute but it’s close to the common in Minchinhampton which is a good place for pictures.
I’ll get in contact with some of the people we’ve helped and send them your way if they get back to me.
Thank you so much for this, the team is very excited 🤗

Just found out we’re handing over some football equipment that we funded to a junior football team at Minchinhampton Football Club. Five or so of us should be there 🙂
